  • ETHNIC STUDIES SYMPOSIUM: “MAKING CULTURE IN THE INLAND EMPIRE”
    June 2, 2009, 12:00-4:00 p.m.
  • The College of Ethnic Studies (CoES) at San Francisco State University (SFSU) invites proposals for papers, panels, roundtable discussions, workshops and performances for a conference that marks the founding of The College and the emergence of the field of Ethnic Studies.
  • LATIN AMERICAN STUDIES CONFERENCE: “STUDY OF THE AMERICAS” (April 23-24)
    • Immigration issues will be the focus of the annual CSUSBLatin American Studies Conference, "Study of the Americas," featuring writer/documentary photographer David Bacon as the keynote speaker.
      The conference will take place Thursday, April 23, beginning at 9:30 a.m. in the Pine Room in the University's Lower Commons.
